Back in 1985 during a Nike Europe tour, Michael Jordan broke a backboard with a powerful dunk while donning an orange, black, and white uniform. To commemorate this moment and uniform, the Air Jordan 1 'Shattered Backboard' was released in 2015, also known as 'Shattered Backboard 1.0.' In the following fall of 2016, the Air Jordan 1 'Shattered Backboard Away' (aka 'Reverse' and 'Shattered Backboard 2.0') was introduced. This sneaker features black laces and Nike branding, but swaps out the orange toe box and black around the toe and tongue for white.
